With its decidedly American sensibilities of hardwork and quality craftsmanship, the Steel Will Chieftain is the latest Badass Knife of the Week.

The Steel Will Chieftain is a premium fixed blade that uses the highest quality materials with careful attention paid to construction.

The 7.48-inch clip-point blade is made from 1095 high-carbon steel and features a nice curvature in the belly. The 0.24-inch thickness of the blade provides superior strength and durability when tackling heavy-duty jobs.

The Steel Will brand is still a newcomer to the world of knives, but it’s quickly making a name for itself with knives like the Chieftain.

The full tang extends down into the handle and even sticks out the butt to create a multipurpose hammer and glassbreaker. Micarta scales around the handle are tough, water-resistant, and grippy.

The 1610 iteration of the Chieftain comes with a green handle, but you can also opt for the orange handle in the 1620 iteration of the Chieftain. Both come with a nylon sheath that’s simple and adaptable.

Once you use this tactical fixed blade, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without it.
