Four Best-Selling Gerber Knives

Gerber Gear has a long and storied history that spans back to the late 1930s when Joseph R. Gerber sold handmade cutlery. Gerber has grown into a prolific company that’s made its name with durable and innovative knives.

In this post, we’re going to take a look at some of the top selling Gerber knives.

Gerber LMF II

The LMF II is arguably one of the best survival knives out there. Any list that documents the top 5 survival knives is simply inaccurate without the inclusion of the LMF II, so there’s no wonder why it’s one of Gerber’s top sellers.

Gerber EVO

With its titanium nitride coated blade and sturdy framelock, the Gerber EVO is a functional and beautifully designed tool.

Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Fixed Blade Knife

The Bear Grylls Ultimate is a relatively new knife, but it took the world by storm. According to Gerber’s site, it became the best-selling knife around the world in 2011.

Gerber Mark II

The Mark II is actually one of the best-selling knives of all time, which is quite a feat considering the competition. The knife has been around since the 1960s and its design has definitely stood the test of time.

EVO and Bear Grylls Ultimate Fixed Blade? Argh. Those are only best selling (by the numbers) because the EVO is like $11 at Sport Authority racks, and the Bear Grylls knife is, well, endorsed by Bear Grylls. But it sucks. Gerber mystery steel and of course there’s the notion that he didn’t even like his new orange creation as much as his old Bayley fixed blade. It’s only an assumption, but in newer seasons of Man Vs. Wild it looked like he was struggling cutting delicate things with the new BG knife because it was larger. He could barely cut a lithium battery with it (to show how to improvise a fire), but with the Bayley he cut down a friggin tree! Then the show got canceled. Thanks Gerber. Lol.
