EVO and Bear Grylls Ultimate Fixed Blade? Argh. Those are only best selling (by the numbers) because the EVO is like $11 at Sport Authority racks, and the Bear Grylls knife is, well, endorsed by Bear Grylls. But it sucks. Gerber mystery steel and of course there’s the notion that he didn’t even like his new orange creation as much as his old Bayley fixed blade. It’s only an assumption, but in newer seasons of Man Vs. Wild it looked like he was struggling cutting delicate things with the new BG knife because it was larger. He could barely cut a lithium battery with it (to show how to improvise a fire), but with the Bayley he cut down a friggin tree! Then the show got canceled. Thanks Gerber. Lol.
