I've been looking for a knife that would serve many functions. I think I've found it. It's beefy and well made. Fits the hand well. I like the handle. Good grip and appears to be replaceable should it become necessary. I would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a do most anything needed blade. Only con in this is I'm not sure about the longevity of the sheath if used heavily. Other than that I'm totally happy with my purchase.

This is a great knife, BUT IT IS NOT A HOOF PICK, IT'S A GUT HOOK! If you're looking for a hoof pick knife, move along. If you're looking for a gut hook, for birds or mammals, you've found a good one.

I prefer this, the larger size, although I ordered both. This one cuts with a little more authority yet is still precise. And you'd be surprised how large even small fruit can be when you cut all the way through it. I prefer this one even though it is just a little long to carry in a pocket. I'm leaving my kitchen knives in the drawer most of the time now. This one even slices bread better than my expensive German bread knife.

This is a great tool for slicing with surgical precision. The smaller size fits in the pocket and handles most fruit. Although I find the blade is a little too light for apples, if you want to cut apples you might want to try a canoe style knife with a fatter, stiffer blade. But I just sliced a cucumber and it was easier than with my Henckel German kitchen knife. I had great control and got slices of about credit card thickness. Great for a ripe peach. You should eat more fresh fruit.
