It was a nice knife! I liked it.

The blade is great but the pocket clip is on the opposite end of where all the other knives do. It is hard to get used to, and it is a little heavier than I expected.

I recently bought the Smith and Wesson Homeland Security partially serrated folder, because I was looking to upgrade from my much smaller Benchmade folding knife that I used to typically carry as a work knife. When I first held my new S&W, the first thing I noticed was it's overwhelming weight, and size. I have no problem with a large frame knife, however, this particular model is almost a full half pound! The next thing I noticed is that there is a lot of excess material with this knife, particularly in the point of the handle. However, it was fairly sharp right out of the box, and opened quickly and solidly. Overall, I would say if you are looking for a very substantial, manly knife, then this may be the one for you. However, I feel it is just too large for everyday use and carry.

This is a great knife and I just love it! I am a soldier in Afghanistan and its great for my everyday needs!

I bought 2 of these. For the most part I really like the knives. I gave one to my son for his birthday and kept one for myself. However, the one I kept for myself gets stuck if I open it with too much snap and I have to use something to pry the lever back over in order to close the blade.

Excellent, beefy solid knife. Love the thumb lever. Flicks open with the most minimal movement. Like to own a folder without a lock.
