Customer Reviews: Smith & Wesson H.R.T. Military Boot Knife, Black Blade, Boot Sheath

Chris S. from St. Paul, MNLove the knife, do not like the kydex sheath. I am a cop and carry the knife on my off-side the sheath is in two parts, the actual sheath and then the clip. The clip comes detached on fast, hard draws of the knife. I supperglued the clip on to the sheath and seems to work o.k. now. I would like to see something other then a friction lock to secure the knife. I have had the knife fall out of the sheath once while crawling in the prone position. The knife quality is good.

Thomas J. from Rossville, TNGreat knife. Sewed it into my boot and I don't even notice it.

Melissa W. from North Little Rock, ARThe knife is very nice and carries well. The only problem I have with it is that in the description and the photo it appeared to be a double edged boot knife and it turned out to be a single edge. The knife was purchased for my partner who is serving in the Army in Iraq. I have had no complaints on its durability as of yet.

Michael F. from Ewing, NJYour average boot knife. Great protective sheath. Is a very sharp and handy knife

Arthur M. from Scranton, PAThis is a good knife, I only am disappointed that a smith and Wesson product could be made in china.

Steve M. from Sioux Falls, SDIt seems to be perfect, a quality item ,and great size. It has a nice sheath.

Jon M. from Storrs, CTThe knife is simple and well-made.

John M. from Quincy, MAIt is just what I was looking for! Thank you!

Jon M. from ConnecticutThis is a nice knife!

Jack L. from Chicago, ILIt is a solid blade,is full tang, and double-edged with one sharp and the other blunt. It also has a good rubber grip and sized well to accommodate boot wear. The plastic sheath is leather and would be more comfortable in the boot.

Troy B. from Ashburn, VAThis is a nice little knife at a great price! I carried a similar one with me everywhere I went in 'Afghanistan'. A handy, tough little knife at a great price. I'm going to order some more soon for family members.

Paul F. from St. Pete, FLIt is comfortable and easy to conceal!

Matrim C. from Scranton, PASmallish knife with a very tough black coat on the blade. It "pops" into the sheath but is held in very securely. The handle is small for my hands, which are average in size. The knife comes only reasonably sharp and only with one edge sharpened. In other reviews I saw it came double edged. This was disappointing. I also had to get a whet stone when it lost it's edge within the first week. Sheathe comes with a removable clip and holes all down the sides of the sheathe for lacing it into a boot or into the webbing of your tact vest. Ok knife. Decent for the price, but you get what you pay for. I do like it but if I looked again I would get another boot knife.

Steve C. from Millville, NJThe knives are perfect for my competitive knife throwing and my issue is not with the knives. The shoulder harness, however, is functional. I bought two of these sets and in both cases the knives do not stay within the harness and simply fall out in the floor or stick in my foot(kidding). But seriously, I was very disappointed in the harness. It was actually the driving force in my purchase of this particular set. Once again, the knives are prefect and I an very pleased with the product.
