Excellent tool. A classic.

This is comfortable, sturdy, and well balanced. The weight gives it good penetration, and the leather handle affords a good grip even when in sweaty hands.

This is balanced like a machete and it actually works better than that. It replaces a hatchet, large knife and even brush clearing tool. I chose the model with the knuckle guard, and I am glad I did. This will be handy if you are working with fairly new, springy growth. Make no mistake though, this is a professional tool, not a toy or replica of a real artifact. Use with extreme caution, it's sharp enough to cause major injury with.

The knife is everything you said it would be: quality blade, rugged handle, and balanced for cutting. I only wish it came with a sheath.

The bush knife is heavy duty and has excellent workmanship. I use it to cut back kudzu vines from the base of trees which is a tough job. It is easily transported on my ATV.

This machete is great for everything in the woods! It's strong, stays sharp and is big enough to chop, cut or dig. It is high quality and should last my lifetime.

The Woodman's Pal Premium was just what I expected. It is heavy duty, well balanced, and well made. The knuckle guard serves it's purpose when tackling thick undergrowth, and protects your hand perfectly. It much better than a machete. I highly recommend it!

This is really a fine tool. It's tough, comfortable in the hand and very efficient. The cutting is quick and thorough. I am very pleased with this item and how it deals with light to medium tree sprouts and thick brush.

The bush knife arrived in good time and turned out to be a well made and thought out tool constructed of quality materials. The only problem with the knife was the edge was beveled wrong which was easily corrected with some time and the judicious use of a good flat file and the only reason for the 4 star rating. Other than that, it deserved 5 stars.

It is a great tool if you are in the woods. I would not be without it. I like the made in the U.S.A.

I was not aware that this product would be delivered without a sharp edge. I now must figure out how to do this. Disappointing.
