I like the rubber handle(it gives a nice comfortable grip),and the 22"Stainless steel blade gives extra reach plus extra power for chopping off limbs.

We were looking for a machete for an award. We were able to place an engraved plate on the end and still keep it looking sharp. It's working great!

I bought 2 one for my dad and me...it's like wielding a Conan Sword. Very solid...awesome grip...goes through 1" vines like butter! Buy one!

Good weight, good grip, good balance, good length, sheath was well made and knife was easily drawn. Could have been sharper.

Very well made, more substantial than expected. I got this to cut vines on a wooded lot and found I could get through two-inch woody vines with one whack and through five inchers by using the machete essentially as an ax.

The Meyerco Machete is a very good product with a great finish and comfortable grip. I would have given the product five stars, but it didn't arrive with a sharp blade. Upon sharpening the blade, the machete chops down brush very well. The machete with the sheath is a great value.

I like it and it will do the job. It could have been sharper but it is one of the best on the market.

It is very heavy duty but not very sharp when it arrived for safety reasons for shipping. All in all I am quite satisfied.

I have always had a Meyerco knife in my pocket since I began in the marine industry. Twenty-five years ago, I was looking for a machete for clearing brush upstate and I saw Meyerco. I did not look any further and I ordered it. It is awesome, has a stainless steel blade so there is no need to oil the blade after its used, and just sheath it and go. The length is 22 inches long over an 1/8 inch thick so you can put some muscle behind your swing and not worry about shattering it,the grip has almost a tacky feel to it which I think gives much better control even after hours of clearing brush of large saplings. I sawed the larger trees with the back side of the blade. It worked great and they are really saw teeth not just for looks. I took my time but managed to get through a 10 inch tree with it !! It has a heavy duty nylon sheath not just some cheap canvas one that after a few uses goes in the garbage. Folks, the bottom line is you get what you pay for if your looking for a heavy duty high quality machete, go no further. You will not be disappointed with this one from Meyerco. It is a winner!

With a couple good files, this was as sharp as a razor blade. I was swinging and slicing right through branches up to 2". Some nice polishing sand and this thing shines like a mirror too.
