I like the Sharp finger knife!

I had the larger version of this style knife. I found it to be an excellent knife for skinning and field dressing deer, bear, elk, and etc.

This is a nice sharp knife!

The knife displayed online had a very nice inscripted display on the blade, but the one I recieved did not. That was the only reason I wanted to purchase it.

Well, it looks like the old Schrade Old Timer, but it absolutely is not like the original. It's a Chinese copy. It isn't made as well. The handle is crooked, the blade is dull, and the leather of the case is half as thick as it used to be. I have to say that good things should never be copied. The good name of Schrade has been dragged through the mud, with this knife.

This knife is fantastic. I love the case it comes in.

I loved the knife and the case.

It has sturdy, ease of handling. We refinish hardwood flooring and use the knife for detailed work like at door jams and other tight corners. The Old Timer's precise point and strength is ideal!

I would first have to explain that I owned this product as a kid. While the knife itself is very comparable to the original, the sheath is of a much lower quality. I would have preferred to pay a little more or had the option to upgrade to a higher quality sheath.

When I get my head around the fact that this "no longer originally manufactured in the USA knife" is now made in China, I will probably appreciate its versatility to various applications, along with its sleek functional design. Very few knives have the balance, the superb grip and the ease of use, that this knife has.

To my horror I found that this knife was made in China. Please let Schrade know that I will no longer be purchasing their products. My actual rate for this item is ZERO and it now resides in the local landfill.

It arrived just as described and is very nice!

I had one of these knives when I was 11 yrs. old and now I'm 44. I wanted my son to have one for fishing and camping so we can have the same kind. I am very please with the quality of the old timer, it's the only knife for me. I like the way the handle and blade is made because the shape stops your hand from sliding onto the blade. It's very safe to use.

This is an excellent knife and great for capering water buffaloes!

I've worked many years as a charter/commercial fisherman & the Sharpfinger has been invaluable to me. It takes & holds a fine edge. The grip is easy to keep hold of under any conditions. The blade is perfectly shaped & superbly made. I have been using this product for over 25years.
