This is a great knife for dressing deer. Most people use a knife that is two big. This one is perfect and the gut hook is great. This one was a gift to my son.

I think this is the best skinning knife out there. I have been using one for years, and have skinned just about all there is. It works the best!

The new Skinner carries the Schrade name but is in fact made in CHINA. The holster is not leather anymore but made of a vinyl like substance. Fine for a skinning knife but definitely not collectible.

I really like the knife! It holds an edge really well and the size is perfect. The gut hook is a must on any hunting knife and this one works great.

This is a very good knife! The only thing I see wrong is in the sheath being plastic instead of leather!
