The handle is rubber and molded to the blade. It makes it solid, has a good length, width and thickness. The sheath is nylon with a plastic inner lining. For the money, it's a great knife.

It has excellent balance and heft! This is my main knife on my pistol belt for survival needs. It is heavy enough to chop, and sharp enough to slice most anything you'd need to cut! Should I have to defend myself against a wild animal, I couldn't pick a better knife choice! This is NOT a toy, by ANY means at all! it is a SERIOUS knife, for SERIOUS people!

The 16.5 in. Rubber Handle Bowie Knife is a "Great Knife" for camping, fishing, and survival.

I thought the knife would be great for camping and survival.

This is one bad blade. It is very light and easy to carry. The full tang and great hand guard along with a killer grip makes this my best hiking knife and I would feel sorry for any thing on the receiving end of it!

This is a top-notch combat warrior's knife of Jim Frost design. It is a beautifully "wicked" blade with a well formed "sure-grip" handle that makes it more secure to wield. It is an impressive brute, aesthetic and utilitarian at the same time. It arrived brand new in its original box with the blade wrapped in a protective lightly oiled cellophane covering.Delivered to me promptly, this knife has been a pleasure to order and is a joy to own. it is a one of a collection of like-kind knives. I appreciate the way I have been dealt with here! Thank you!

THIS KNIFE IS BRUTAL!!!!!! If you like to hunt/camp/hike/fish in places where bear/big cats/wolf or wild pigs live, then this thing will be your best chance in close range fighting if something tries to eat you. It is big, sharp, and has a great hand grip that works for both left and right handed people. If you get lost, this knife alone can cut down small trees for a shelter and fire wood and still kill/clean and cut up what ever you have to just to stay alive. The price is cheap for an outdoors knife that you can trust your life with as it will do its job time and time again:)
