I wish it had a bell to signal when it turnes off. I have to set a timer to ring to be sure that I can hear that it is time to check on it in case I am out of the room. Otherwise, I love it. It was a replacement for one that we received as a wedding gift in 1971 that finally gave up the ghost.

I was looking for a fool-proof egg cooker ( with nonstick cleaning) and this one does the job. I use it mainly for poached eggs (four at a time) but have also used it successfully for hard-boiled eggs. It's pretty easy to clean and a nice small gadget for easy storage.
