Sturdy, sanitary stainless steel construction, and with finger and thumb rings large enough for the bigger male hand, convenient to use and to generate the pressure required to inject a thick marinade. I looked at a number of cheaper plastic alternatives before purchasing this - and I'm very pleased I did.
