I am a surgical instrument sharpener. When I am at home, the last thing I want to do is to sharpen my knives. I bought a Victorinox Diamond Steel 10" sharpening stick for the kitchen drawer. I've used it through Thanksgiving and Christmas to touch up my knives as needed. Correctly used, you are not going to find a better tool for this purpose. This tool will make your blades as sharp as you will ever need. I was so pleased, I bought several more for Christmas gifts.
