We were pleased when we opened the box. It appeared to be of good quality. We gave it as a Christmas gift to friends who spend about 6 mo. a year in Europe; they spend lots of time traveling by train (4-5 hour rides) and love to pack a picnic lunch. They were thrilled with it and said it will be perfect because their hands will be free to handle all their other luggage. They also said it looks like it will really hold up well. They plan to use it for their many picnics here at home in Florida as well. They just "raved" about it. I purchased some things and put them into the backpack, bottle of wine, crackers, hot chocolate packs, and a little stainless steel flask. They also like hot beverages like tea (she's English) and hot chocolate, so the flask will also come in handy. The perfect gift and we may get one for ourselves.
