In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. There are not many black cordura sheaths available for this size knife. I work in public safety and I need my knife readily available. This sheath provides that need.

This is adequate quality for what it is. I could benefit from a 'double' belt loop, one for wide belts, and an inner one underneath the wide one for narrow belts. It is sturdy and probably hard wearing. The material is slightly abrasive, so watch out for it rubbing on your high class stock finish.
