Larry M. from Alton, ILOverall, this is a good product. I bought this to use in my bird bath. My only issues are that the sprinkler head holes are so small that particles from my bird bath clog them up....forcing me to use just the pipe-like extensions. At no fault to the product, full sun is a must to operate the fountain all day. I have some shade that creeps in periodically during the day and unless the solar panel is turned in the right direction, it doesn't get enough sun to work.

I knew prior to ordering that it would not operate like a solar battery powered light and therefore could not store power. It would be nice if it would. It is a little pricey considering it doesn't store solar power with a battery. I would recommend this product to a friend given the understanding of its limits. The plastic support stake is rather flimsy as mine broke in half when I was inserting it into the ground. I would suggest pre-drilling the hole before installing the stake.
