I collect knives (Buck Knives). I've never had the Vanguard in my collection - I purchased one for my son also. The knife is a simple, effective "classic blade" style good for many applications...in fact, it was recently selected by a popular outdoor magazine as the best all around knife you can have. You have a great price and great service!
