No "EJECT" or "REWIND" button (which, I'll admit, may have been in the product description somewhere, but I missed it). Sound was bad at the start and soon deteriorated to the point of being unusable; after only a few uses, whether on batteries or electricity, all the tapes sounded as if they were recorded at half speed in a well. And the battery cover wouldn't close all the way, so if I tried to play it in a moving car, the batteries could pop out at any time. I threw the thing away after only a few uses. A complete waste of money.
