Product Description:

Wilton Armetale® products are cast using a painstaking process called sand molding, where an impression formed in sand is filled with the molten Armetale® metal. A select number of items are made in a similar fashion, using die casting.

I ordered an armetale reggae medium rectangular tray to complement a larger, oval platter I had bought previously. Wilton Armetale trays and platters are wonderful--they make a nice presentation, and they can be returned to the oven if food needs to be cooked longer or kept warm. It is extremely easy to care for and looks great. I chose the reggae pattern because I like contemporary looks--it is a lively pattern, but I wish that Armetale made more contemporary patterns to choose from.
