This is the best knife sharpener I have ever used. It only takes a few minutes to learn how to use and after that I know have knive that I once thought could never be sharp "Extremely Sharp!!!!" I'd highly recommend it for anyone whos collects knives or spends a lot of time in the kitchen. I do both........

I like the knife sharpener. It seems to do the job pretty well. However, my knives have such thick blades, I am having some trouble getting them sharp enough, but I don't believe it's the fault of the knife sharpener.

The sharpener is great. This is the second one I have owned. The first one was a cheaper model and it lasted around ten years with moderate use. For best results the first time you sharpen a knife make sure you use the first stage an appropriate amount of times . I have around twelve different knives I keep sharp with this sharpener. I do have one sushi knife that I cannot sharpen with this sharpener because of the angle of the bevel on the knife. The knife is to expensive to change the angle of the bevel.
