The Chef's Choice Cordless Electric Kettle is wonderful. Heats water up very quickly (usually 3-5 minutes). As mentioned, it is cordless which makes portability a wonderful feature. Only down side is that the side gets really hot, but no one should be touching that when there is a very nice handle. Would recommend to anyone

A necessity for serious tea drinkers. Boils a liter of water in less time than it takes to brew a pot of loose leaf tea. Attractive and easy to use. I have also found it useful for boiling water to put in a pan on the stove to jump start pasta and other dishes.

I don't know why I didn't buy this electric kettle years ago. I go to England and use my friend's and think how efficient it is. I bought a black plastic kettle which I got rid of and then bought this stainless steel kettle and I love it. I gave it as a Christmas present to friends and family. It was well received and well liked.
