Old timer 8OT senior stockman

Bought this one in March 2017 and have used it every day since for a work knife and General camping knife and even carry it when going in the woods. I carry this as a work knife because I don’t want to lose my more expensive brand pocket knife that
Cost about $90.00. I am really impressed with this knife even though it is made in China and is made from 7CR17 steel which is a Chinese steel and is actually a stainless steel that is equivalent to USA production 440 steel. I have never had any trouble with keeping it very sharp and it holds a edge great I have used it for a little bit of everything. I would definitely recommend this and would definitely buy it again if I lost the current one I am carrying and using now

My newer series old timer 8OT senior stockman

I bought a brand new old timer 8OT senior stockman in March 22,2018 to carry and use as a primary everyday carry pocket knife for work and have even used it camping all the time and it has actually been a great knife and stays sharp and is very easy to sharpen and get a edge back on to. The newer series old timer are made from 7CR17 high carbon stainless steel blades. I have used it for just about everything from cutting boxes open and cutting them up to burn in the fire ring. Have even carried it in my pocket while going hunting in the woods because if I accidentally lost it in the woods it would only be $32.00 to go buy a new one. I would definitely recommend this knife to anyone who wants a good everyday carry pocket knife to use for work or camping mine has held up very well and I’m very pleased with it. I have some friends also that carry the newer series old timer knives and they are really happy with them as well.

My old timer 8OT stockman

I bought a brand new old timer 8OT senior stockman in March 2018 to use as a work knife that way I would not ruin my more expensive brand knife I’ve carried it as a everyday work knife since March 2018 and it is holding up very well and it is very easy to sharpen and stays sharp using my Arkansas hard and soft sharpening stones. The newer series old timer is made from 7CR17 high carbon stainless steel blades if I lose it I would definitely go buy another one again. I really can’t see any difference in this new one and the old one that was USA made years ago. I even have used it while hunting and when staying at my camper all the time from April till November.

My old timer 8OT

I bought this knife in March 2018 to use as a work knife that way I would not ruin my more expensive brand knife as a work knife I’ve carried it since March 2018 and it’s done everything that I’ve wanted to do. For being a newer series old timer and the 7CR17 stainless steel it holds a edge great and is very easy to sharpen I use it when working and when not working I carry my more expensive brand. I’ve used this old timer 8OT while camping and it’s working out great will be taking it back to my camper in the spring.
