I added this stone to my existing Gatco kit. It's definitely a good addition and allows a keener edge on blades especially when a finer edge is preferred or required.

This extra fine sharpening stone is excellent. I use this sharpener once a week to keep my knives in great shape. This stone is so valuable because it doesn't take much metal off of your knife, allowing them to last longer.

So far I am not too thrilled with it! But I am not sure if at least half of the problem is not me. I wanted a sharpener that will make my knife razor sharp. I have used it at least five times today and while it helps to sharpen the blade, I have to use two more finer stones to get what I was looking for.
