Good balance in handling, but not very sharp with cutting branches. The angle of cut needs to be less blunt with a sharper angle. A leather sling would secure swing in cutting also. Overall this is a well made knife.

It was everything they advertised. Nice to have on a walk through the woods. I have 60 acres of mostly woods and a few plots of crops and it has been a real asset to have around. From clearing brush to keeping trails trimmed up or just plain hacking everything in your path down this does the job. Stays sharp, well made, works well and sharpens easily.

Overall it is a very good product, however after some use the pins holding the wooden handle in place came loose so that the blade "flops" around a bit in the handle.
