This is my first ever Damascus blade knife and Bear & Son did a fantastic job. The knife looks and works wonderfully. Made in America too! Highly recommended.

I own 2 Bear & Sons Bowie knives. One stainless one w/ stag handles and a damascus bowie that came with cocobolo handle scales. I changed the handle to an exotic wood called bubinga. Added finger grooves and a hook in the handle to keep it from flying out of my hand. Both as sharp as a razor, but my dama blade holds a wickedly sharp edge. It'll cut ya if ya look at it ! I own a lot of Bowie knives and these 2 are amoung my top 10 ! #3&4 to be exact. Very tough blades

Always loved that Damascus style of blade. Beautiful looking knife and the bone handle took it over the top. Could have been a little sharper I thought so my neighbor sharpens knives on the side, now it shaves my arm hairs.

Bear & Son Cutlery 4-1/8" 2 Blade Autum Feather Jig Bone Trapper

We purchased this item as a Christmas gift . The only drawback is seeing the lettering on the blade is a little hard to see but that can't be helped The knife itself was more than we expected, the blades were tight yet, opened easily Did feel the blades were a little dull and should be sharper then again this may be more of a safety reason not to make very sharp Would have no problem purchasing again from this comapny and this brand

Bear & Son Cutlery 3 3/4" Mastodon Ivory Lockback Folder

Well made knife. The Mastodon Ivory is nice and with the dark Damascus blade gives it an appealing contrast.

What a great knife! The fit and finish is perfect. The blades are centered in the liners and both blades open and close with authority. The edges were pretty good as received but stropped to razor sharpness in a couple of minutes. Made in the USA too! If you're looking for a large, high quality slip joint, get this knife.

Good knife. Owned it about 5 years. knife that stays sharp.

Excellant skinning knife. Completely skinned an Elk cow here in Montana from start to finish and the blade is still sharp. Honed it on my kitchen hone and with only 4 strokes per side was back in very sharp status. Great little skinning knife and Made in America!
