Designed by knifemaker Terry Lee Renner, this futuristic knife redefines what an everyday carry could be.
The 3.1-inch blade is made from 8Cr14MoV stainless steel with a hollow grind and a shape that can only be described as a modified tanto. With two tones—a mirror polish and a brushed finish—the blade is made even more striking.
Because deployment on an EDC is important, the Deviation uses a flipper mechanism accompanied by the IKBS ball-bearing pivot system, allowing the blade to come to life quickly and smoothly.
If the blade doesn’t immediately catch your eye, then the angular handle will. Made from stainless steel, the handle boasts Ti-Nitride finished accents that make the entire knife stand out.
Although the knife looks like a piece of art that’s meant to be seen and not used, the Deviation is functional art. The angular handle fits comfortably in the hand, and the blade shape is useful for all types of everyday tasks.
