Arrived very sharp from the box. Looks cool. Sheath holds it tightly. Don't care for the cord for neck use. I plan on replacing it with ball chain like what is on military dog tags. Vertical belt carry works ok. Tried horizontal belt carry. That did not work for me. The knife bit me when I drew it from the sheath as I had to hold the sheath so it wouldn't slide on my belt. It drank my blood so now I truly own it. Like I wrote it is very sharp.
I am very pleased with this knife. It is a great deal for its price point. It is the sharpest of all of my EDC knives. The Outburst and Firesafe features work perfectly and the knife is very pleasing to my eye. Put one in to your EDC rotation.
The knife is way too heavy.
Well made, large -easy to grip, a little slow opening, slightly heavy.
Great knife! It opens fast and locks up tightly with out any detectable play at all. Surprisingly hefty for its size. Blade is good and sharp and centers perfectly when closed. It is certainly a good looking knife. I am very well pleased with my purchase.
This is an updated design of old world styling. Man does this thing chop down anything in its path. Great @ stabbing too... One of the finest machetes I have ever to have the pleasure of using... This should be in your collection from cutting the cheese to loping the heads off zombies... Get one...
This knife opens easily and predictably, the liner lock does exactly what it should, hold the blade securely locked open. It is insanely sharp as well as beautiful with its tanto-like design. My issue with this otherwise beautiful knife is that functionally, it is difficult to produce from the pocket. The pocket clip is recessed in the handle body of this knife, creating a snag issue on your pocket edge. I have ground down the area beneath the pocket clip of my knife, with some improvement, yet still have a pocket snag factor. Overall this is a beautiful, strong knife.
