Ontario SP10 Spec Plus Raider Bowie Knife, 9.75" 1095 Steel Blade, Kraton Handle
This beast of a blade by Ontario Knife Company is among the best of the heavyweight knives on the market.
Modeled after the classic American Bowie, this knife boasts a jumbo-sized 9.75-inch blade made of 1095 carbon steel, which is insanely tough and easy to sharpen. Although it's not corrosion resistant, the steel is coated with epoxy textured powder coating for extra protection from the elements and to minimize the steel's reflective properties.
A big knife like this may come across as a gimmick, but OKC does not mess around when it comes to making knives. The Spec Plus series is made in America and designed for military, sporting, and first responder purposes.
You can also use the butt of this full tang blade to hammer in tent stakes or nails -- that's how buff this knife is. And thanks to its heat- and weathering-resistant Kraton handle, this knife can give you top performance wherever you go. It also comes with a combination leather and Cordura sheath.

Awesome! Did I mention AWESOME?!
Well balanced knife. I use it mainly for cutting coconuts (Not dry coconuts but anything from young to hardening). Seems perfect weight and size for that job. Had it over a year now and it is still razor sharp and I never had to sharpen it once. Being from a small island and living in the country it comes in really handy.
I got my product with in a week and was very pleased by my new knife. It was very beautiful it did not come fully sharpened but I got a knife sharpener and took care of that problem and was very pleased with my purchase. I can tell that is will serve me for many many years to come i can tell by the craftsmanship of the blade. It was very easy to sharpen and recommend that other buy this knife as well i think you will be very pleased as well.
Very good knife worth every dolllar
I had it as soon as it came out .3 years ago.My Primary knife for everything.has never failed me, truly best for the money.
This is a seriously heavy knife. I love it, had it now for about a month and still have not put it in my display case. I just cant stop playing with it.
It's BIG, it's sharp, it's heavy duty, it's well made, and it's worth every penny.
Durable and rugged with a excellent blade! Comes with a nice study sheath and the blade thickness is just shy 1/4 inch, strong enough to hammer a nail!
Knife is excellent
The knife, for the price can't be overlooked. It handles nicely in hand, although a just a tad heavy, and is rugged enough to deal with most tasks that would be asked of it. The finish is the only negative, and at the price, really is a small negative at that. If your collecting,t his is a reliable and functional blade, give it a look.
