I like it.
This is the best knife I own in my collection. SOG put in alot of time when designing this knife from the spine which helps add balance to the knife, From the clip point to the partial grind, giving this knife everything an outdoors man is looking for. It's full tang construction makes almost impossible from bending during use. It's also very comfortable in ones hand. Even the regular case which is the one I purchased with mine complements the knife very well and will strap on to any part of a gear bag, thigh rig, or belt. I recommend it to anyone looking for a knife that will out last you.
I have this knife and it has been the best fix blade knife I have ever owned, And it holds an edge. I know it's not a throwing knife, but I have some and this knife is tough, threw it from 20 ft. at 34 plywood it almost goes threw love it. So if you are looking for a great fixed blade this is it once you hold it, you will know it is the top of the line from SOG
This knife is a must have.
Superb knife, looks excellent and feels great. My favorite along with the SOG pentagon. I take this on all my trips to remote locations. I would highly recommend this very good quality knife.
Very nice knife, good size and weight. Will definitely carry while hiking and camping. Good price and fast shipping!
This is one of the greatest knives I have ever owned. I owned the sword sting from Lord of the Rings. I have three fusion throwing knives, and it has saved my life more than once. Also the serrated edge on the back of the knife doesn't hurt at all when whittling and etc. Also the window breaker thingy at the back can double as a hammer though it is very dangerous. I got this knife for my eleventh birthday (I had pre-ordered it). Now I am thirteen and still loving this knife. It is also special to me in the way that my father has the SEAL 2000, and since my dad and I always love going on adventures, it makes them all the more cool. We have big knives(for my dad ) and the slightly smaller STE for me. Overall, this is probably the best knife you will ever buy!
Impressive is the long and the short of it. It comes out of the box razor sharp and holds its edge through repeated heavy usage. The knife itself is solid and feels heavy, fits well in the sleeve without slippage. It sliced its way through thick nylon rope like butter, impressing the hell out of my buddies. In fact after seeing that justing holding it made them nervous. JK
Even though I felt Knife Depot mislead me and everyone else for that matter about the place of origin which is Taiwan BTW...it was a gorgeous knife, felt good in my hand, and seemed very sharp...unfortunately I had send them both back because for that price they should've been made in USA...plus other knife sites sell them for much less...loved the sheath too...very cool.
Looking at this knife online it seemed like a purebred with plenty of WTF...after I received my SOG SEAL Team Elite Knife I realized it's made in Taiwan, a real turn off for me, being a US Navy Veteran, shame on me for getting suckered in. The missing place of origin should've been a red flag for me, so I sent both the Knives back for full refund for that price it had better be American made.
