Smith & Wesson is one of the world's most recognizable brands, and for good reason. Since we first opened our doors, we have focused on designing and manufacturing innovative solutions that are unparalleled in the field of personal safety and protection. Almost every major law enforcement and military agency in the world has used Smith & Wesson products, and to this day, most police departments in the United States depend on our firearms and accessories.

We've been a partner to law enforcement since the late 1800s, developing crime-fighting tools that set the standard for the field. Our world-famous .357 Magnum® was developed specifically for law enforcement agencies, and the Smith & Wesson .38 Special has been adopted as the caliber of choice at one time or another by hundreds of police departments. In fact, our .38 Special is so popular, the Smith & Wesson Model 10 firearm that fires it is the only handgun in the world that's been in continuous production since it was introduced in 1899, and to date, over 6 million units have been produced.

We continue to search for high performance in our newest division, Smith & Wesson Advanced TechnologiesTM (S.W.A.T.TM). Through S.W.A.T., we're developing sophisticated technological tools that assist law officials at the city, state and federal levels. We bring the same high standards of craftsmanship and precision quality to our technology solutions as we do to everything else we make.

As a company, Smith & Wesson continues to flourish and grow. We are committed to strengthening our core safety and security business, and we are prospering through synergistic alliances with other best-of-breed experts in their field. The same innovative, forward-thinking spirit that drove Smith & Wesson in the beginning still inspires us today, and we look to a future of continued leadership, quality and craftsmanship in products and services that enhance public safety, security and protection all over the world.

Great knife and great engraving to personalize it. I will certainly look at doing this perhaps as an annual present for my boys. delivery was faster than advertised which is always a good surprise.

Bought this for my son to replace an old S&W that he had had for years. He loves it. Met all of his expectations.

I'm very satisfied with this knife. It's just the right size and the assisted opening is just fantastic. I'd rather have a more rubber feel to the grip but this one won't slip out of your hand with it's gritty surface.

This is my second S&W in 3 years. That says a lot seeing how I abuse my knives. This one is my first assisted open blade and I wish it did not take so much pressure to open the blade. I do like how small it is though and it holds a great edge Maybe I just need to spend some time with it but the fact of how much pressure it takes to open the blade and the lack of grip surface for a guy with big hands like me is what keeps me from giving 5 stars. Once the assisted open kicks in though its fast and smooth. Its my new EDC now but maybe I'll take advantage of Knife Depot's great return policy and try some other folders out for a few days.

Loved this knife until the first time I dropped it and it broke. Now the safety doesn't work. I expected a little more quality and endurance from this knife, but was disappointed by the first and only time the knife has been dropped.

Pros: Cheap, very rapid deployment. It is basically an auto the way it deploys when you push the thumb release lever. Quality is ok for what you pay and considering it's made in china. Cons: Rides a bit high in the pocket, also the rough texturing under the clip will wear your pants pretty hard. I would have preferred something else than skate-tape on the grips and I'm probably going to just pull that off, at least on the clip side.

This knife tends to be a bit wide in girth. I could do without the non-slip material on the handles. Overall though, this knife seems to be constructed well and operates flawlessly!
