My husband had this same knife for several decades and always kept it in his pocket. The blade was paper thin so he wanted a replacement for Christmas. I ordered the knife from Knife Depot. It arrived on time and my husband loved it. He said it's better than the original.

This a great little knife. I bought three different small pocket knives before this one, and I threw them in the garbage. I've had this knife for two years, and I carry it everywhere. Good, strong blade that is easy to keep an edge on. It looks nice too!

This is a great little pocket knife. I have carried exactly this model for decades (except when traveling!) and use it almost every day. Bought this one for my daughter who requested a small knife as a Christmas gift. Completely handy!

I have a very similar knife I bought at Sears years ago. They don't sell it anymore. I am glad you do.

The workmanship is excellent. This is not the first one I have owned, as I lose a lot of them going through airport security.

Excellent knife. I've had one before and lost it .

Perfect pocket knife. Clean, compact, fits my hand well, attractive, easy to use. Gave my grandson the smaller version of it as his very first knife. At 13 he's old enough to begin carrying a knife as a tool. He loves it. Well done.

It's a perfect pocket knife for me. It's just the right size, very sharp and from the way it looks and feels in my hand, it's a knife of superior quality.

This knife was bought for my 16-yr-old nephew when his previous knife closed on his hand, resulting in injury. I was very happy with this knife as it provided a locking blade which actually works, as he has found out. Overall, the knife seemed well-made and extremely sturdy, allowing for much abuse before it will need replaced.

The Schrade LB3 Rosewood handle knife is of high quality, both handle and blade. I use it every day in my trade, for cutting coated fabrics. I carry it with me all the time. Great little knife.

I love this little knife. I am a female, and a horticulturist, and like to keep a small knife in my pocket. After about 20 years I just lost my old wooden handled Schrade and found this one on your site. I love the size and weight of it and the blade is excellent! It is a great replacement for the knife I lost.

I have had an Uncle Henry knife in my pocket for the past 35 years. It is a very durable knife, and I have enjoyed working with your websit.

I love this knife! It is small enough you don't know it is in your pocket, yet cuts like a big one. I had one before for 10 years and lost it. It is the best knife I have ever owned!! Richard

I've received my Schrade Brown Bear as a groomsman's gift 20 years ago and have carried it since. It's a great size, large enough to get a good grip when cutting something tough, yet fits well in my pocket. It sharpens up nice and holds a good edge. This past Christmas my son let it be known that a pocket knife was on his wish list. When my wife asked what style, his responce was "just like Dad's". We were happy to oblige.

I have had this identical knife for about 5-6 years. I used the knife almost daily and really liked it so I sought out to purchase another one, identical to the one I have become accustomed to. It works the same.

The knife is part of an Uncle Henry collection but I do use it. It is well built and holds a very good edge.

It is a great little knife, but not quite identical to the original one I had before.......not sure who changed it, but the difference is that at the hinge end of the blade, it sticks out a bit when closed....not really a problem, but doesn't look so nice. I had the other one for about 20 years before the snap lock mechanism broke so the the knife will not open, nor stay open properly. It is lovely and sharp though, hope it stays so for a while.

Very nice, very sharp, but a little small for me. I ended up buying the slightly larger version. Great Knife.

Good utility tool and convenient pocket size, but the lock blade is stiff on closing. Hopefully with use the blade will close more easily.

I will never buy a Chinese made knife. Nothing in China has a commitment to American health. Only the old Schrade knives will interest me. God bless America!

This is not the quality expected from Schrade/Uncle Henry. The blades are extremely hard to close and the handle wood and brass were not flush.

By Ben H. from Picayune, MS
May 3, 2008

The knife is exactly what I wanted; size, shape, and etc. I lost my old pocket knife that was very similar after about 15 years. The reason I rated this knife at 3 stars is the fact that is extremely difficult to unlock.

By Jack L. from Morrisville, VT

The knife seems well-made but is difficult to close. The safety release if very hard to depress.

By Nick . from Brick NJ
May 4, 2013

I was at the understanding that it was made in USA! The quality is not that great. the reason that I wonted a Schrade is because I had one for 30 years and never had any problems until it broke!

By Gerald F. from Savannah, GA
March 24, 2010

The blade lock is too hard to press. I must push it against something harder than a finger to release it such as a table edge etc. Other than that, the quality and finish make this a fine pocket knife.
