i love all my knife
Very nice! great addition to my collection.a work of art!
Great buy! Heavy built and a must have. Purchased this product to help with clearing a wooded/brush area for camping. Worked great and will use many more times.
Knife is great but customer service even better. They run out of the III series but as soon as they received IV series they sent it to me priority 2nd day delivery. Awesome combat machete. Can't wait to go camping!
Great craftsmanship, these are the type of products that should only be produce in America.
When I reviewed my item on-item I was impressed. When I received it, I was blown away. The blade is very high quality stainless steel. This blade has very very little flexibility in it. Very sharp as well. The handle is of high quality walnut perfectly stained. Even the sheath was better than I imagined. I highly recommend this product. It was a birthday present for my son and he was extremely thrilled it with. You will not regret your purchase.
Beautifully crafted, heavy razor sharp blade, excellent balance.
It is very sturdy and easy to sharpen.
Wow what a blade! This is the most knife Ive ever bought for the money. It is stunning, and though it'll only remain in one of my display cases, I am sure it could do the biz in the woods. If your unsure of this blade don't be, you'll love it!
This knife was impressive on the web and even more so when it arrived!
A beautiful knife, sharp from the box and a good weight for all the usual tasks. The only issue is the handguard which was slightly loose but soon rectified thus giving it 4 stars rather than 5.
My first impression on opening the box was 'Holy crap! Is that thing legal?' A sort of visceral feeling you get when you see something deadly yet beautiful. Like looking a cobra close up. Quality steel, this things not a knife, it' a machete unless you are 10 feet tall. Very heavy, too heavy to swing unless you have strong wrists. Took away 1 star for the handle, slightly too big to grasp fully unless you have big hands. This things too beautiful to soil cutting trees, definitely a conversation piece. A work of art, not as practical as a Woodmans Pal,but infinitely more beautiful. I don't need it, but I definitely want one!
A quality piece, well made with very good fit & finish. I plan on taking it on my next trip to Africa in 2010. Great around the yard for thinning out brush.
Pros: Great collection piece, heaviest knife I own, more so then swords, cuts some things well, good handle. Cons: I got eleven stitches from barely grazing it. which leads to, Too sharp, traditional machetes have a machete edge but these are sharpened ridiculously to sharp for the job to be done, Plainly not a machete, more of a oversized bowie knife/ meat knife. part because of sharpness part because of size, length, and stability, Far too expensive, the actual production probably took 20 bucks. In conclusion if you want to spend this amount of money for a "machete" then buy four Gerber gator machetes, do yourself a favor.
