Gerber Ultralight LST Folding Knife, 1.96" Plain Drop Point Blade, GFN Handles
The Gerber Ultralight LST is the only personal knife you'll ever need! So light you'll forget it's there, yet ready to swing into action at a moment's notice, the LST is a super-versatile, easy-open knife with a overall weight of only 0.6 oz.
The original was brought to the market way back in 1980 by Mr. Pete Gerber himself. He elicited the help of the legendary Blackie Collins to design a simple but effective knife that was lightweight and rugged.
The blade is 1.96 inches and features 420HC stainless steel, making it able to withstand the elements while conforming to nearly all knife laws.
The highlight at the time of its release was its glass-filled nylon handles, and its tactile textured handle continues to be a major selling point. A lanyard hole at the back allows for more security when holding the knife.
If you're not sold yet, the Gerber Ultralight LST is not only a steal but is entirely made in the United States of America. It doesn't get much better than that.

In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. The unique style and high quality manufacturing of Gerber cutlery soon developed wide spread acclaim. In fact, Gerber Legendary Blades are the only cutlery on display in New YorkÂs famous Museum of Modern Art.
From very early on, Gerber collaborated with top knife designers, setting a standard of quality for everyone else to follow. Renowned designers such as Al Mar, Bob Loveless, Paul Poehlmann, "Blackie" Collins, William Harsey Jr. and Ernest Emerson have all designed knives for Gerber. In 2002 this tradition continued as Gerber released the Silver TridentÂ, designed by Chief James "Patches" Watson (U.S.N. Ret.) and Bill Harsey Jr.
Today, Gerber continues to design and manufacture unique, high quality outdoor recreation products. In 2003 we are proud to introduce the next generation of multi-tools: the Recoil Auto-Plier. By constantly utilizing new technology and innovative design to develop new products, Gerber continues to be an industry leader.

Perfect workmanship, very light in weight.
One of the best pocket knives I've owned.
I was given one of these many years ago as a "best man." I bought these five for Christmas gifts to the nephews that have grown up. Small, light, lock-blade and "Gerber sharp" enough to cut paper. It goes in my pocket every day and gets used almost as often. I got to test it many times on jobs that really needed a big brother and it came through. It has been used as a screwdriver and lock-pick(emergency of course), but mostly cuts open boxes in my retail store. Get one of these. You can't beat the price for this "made in America" gem.
I love this knife, and have given it as a gift to many. Fantastic blade, great handle grip and feel, and perfect for the key chain, which I keep with a small high power LED light for great dual function.
The perfect pocket knife, small and very light . Good Quality.
I carried one of these for over 11 years until a recent trip I forgot to put it in my checked bag and it was taken by TSA. I had to replace it since I just feel naked without. Knife Depot delivered promptly and at a decent price.
Good quality knife. Perfect for me because it fits on my key chain and is small enough to fit comfortably in my pocket.
Very light and easy on the the pocket. Great little knife.
This knife is just the size and weight I was looking for to be my "always in pocket" knife. The only thing that would improve it would be a knob enabling one-handed opening.
The knife was great and exactly what I wanted. It arrived on the stated delivery date.
It is light, small, and sharp. It rests easily in my pocket and opens smoothly.
I needed a knife that would fit on a key ring. It had to have a locking blade. It also had to be light, tough, and small but still big enough to handle the odd cutting job that always seems to turn up. This knife fits that niche superbly!
I bought one of these in the 1980's and it was fabulous. I accidentally left it in my pants and put it through a washer. It got caught under the agitator and part of the handle was rubbed down.Other than that, nothing was wrong with it. I am still in awe of that thing, it changed the way that I look at knives.
This is a great knife! I use it every day in my warehouse. It stays sharp and is easy to operate. I keep it on my key chain. It has made tasks easy with its ability to cut, trim, scrape, and strip. It is light and comfortable in your pocket.
I have purchased several of the LST Ultralights over the years--for myself and as gifts. They are just the right size: small and light enough to carry without even feeling it, but large enough to be a real knife (and the locking blade is a great safety feature). With a little practice, you can open and close it with one hand. I love this knife!
It is handy as a shirt pocket and good for keeping in your car, and etc! It is small, lightweight, and a good basic knife.
This is a great knife because it is so light. It's easy to carry about. It's not cumbersome and it holds an edge for a long time.
I needed a knife I could easily carry around for opening packages, cutting straps, and "just to have with me" when a knife was needed. This model fits the bill perfectly!!! It's of high quality, amazingly light-weight, and honed to a razor-sharp edge. It's thin enough to carry in a tight pocket without a bulge, but it's so light I chose to add it to my key ring for easy access and constant availability (while I might not put a knife in my pocket when getting dressed, I carry my keys everywhere I go). I was so pleased with this knife, after it arrived I purchased another as a spare!
I love this knife. It's light, sharp, and easy to open and close.
Very good knife just what I wanted. Gerber light weight and very good steel, not able to find any where else.
I carried one of these for more than 12 years until I lost it. Very handy, stays sharp. You don't even realize it is in your pocket until you need it.
Great Little pocket knife.
Excellent small knife for use in my woodworking shop.
I like it. It is thin and sharp.
It was much smaller than I had expected, but that is my fault, it was not misrepresented. However, my wife fell in love with it, and carries it on her key ring, so I am happy with the purchase.
It is a nice size for the hand and holds a good edge.
I am not happy with the quality of the steel. It does not hold an edge at all.
