Very pleased with the knives. They are as advertised, well made and throw well. No negatives.
This set is perfect... You have to use power but they stick a inch easy in pine at a range of 22 feet. Very accurate.. I have a split tip because throwing knife on knife is possible... A advice, grind the edge of the backside to a round shape works very well.
Those are real throwing knife because they aren't sharp. They are strong and fun to throw. They also stick well.
I found the knives to be amazing! They are extremely well weighted and balanced. Almost every time I threw it was a direct hit. For those of you worried that the knife will break don't be they are fairly thick and heavy knives and will take a good amount of abuse. As long as you throw the knives correctly you should be fine, and don't throw somewhere around cement or rocks the knives like any other knives will be damaged that way.
Great knives and service was excellent
Excellent knives. There were many vendors selling this set of knives, but some were not clear if they were selling the new version, or the older version. Knife Depot's picture showed the new version, so I ordered from them. I'm am very pleased, they are the latest version, exactly what I wanted. These were a gift for my son.
Very well balanced, good weight and great for both blade and handle throwing. The metal is also risstant and the leather holder is nice though I only use it for storage anyways.
The weight and balance of this kinife is terrific for beginners and for a pro . I have nine of these knives for practice.
Difficult to throw, I would not recommend this to someone else.
Boker USA Ziel Knife's are total crap. tip broke off after only a few throws stainless steel is no good for a throwing knife. I have Many Cold Steel throwers and never had one bend or break, they use 1055 carbon steel. They make great knifes for the money. Another great knife is the Condor Dismissal 12" or 14" I have three of each and they throw fantastic with no bends or breaking. 1075 Carbon steel. I own many different types of throwers ranging from 20.00 to 85.00 each and condor dismissal is one of my favorite throwers.
