Gerber LMF II Infantry Fixed Blade Knife, Black Nylon Handle w/ Sheath
Whether you're smashing through a window to save a trapped loved one, chopping up kindling for a campfire, or escaping from behind enemy lines, the Gerber LMF II Infantry is the tool you want by your side.
The LMF II is one of the most popular and respected military/survival knives of the past few decades and consistently lives up to its reputation as a solid all-around knife.
This tough-as-nails knife features a 420HC stainless steel drop point blade with serrations. The blade itself is 4.84 inches long and surprisingly thick, which gives it the strength and size needed for easy adaptability.
Further down on the knife, a glass-filled nylon handle with TPV overmold offers a comfortable and secure grip.
And if you think this knife isn't strong, think again. Engineered by former military man Jeff Freeman, the more than 10-inch survival knife underwent rigorous field-testing by troops.
The Gerber LMF II is as versatile as your imagination will allow. It can slice through seat belts, cut firewood, hammer down stakes with the shock-absorbing butt cap, convert into a spear via lashing holes, and so much more.

In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. The unique style and high quality manufacturing of Gerber cutlery soon developed wide spread acclaim. In fact, Gerber Legendary Blades are the only cutlery on display in New YorkÂs famous Museum of Modern Art.
From very early on, Gerber collaborated with top knife designers, setting a standard of quality for everyone else to follow. Renowned designers such as Al Mar, Bob Loveless, Paul Poehlmann, "Blackie" Collins, William Harsey Jr. and Ernest Emerson have all designed knives for Gerber. In 2002 this tradition continued as Gerber released the Silver TridentÂ, designed by Chief James "Patches" Watson (U.S.N. Ret.) and Bill Harsey Jr.
Today, Gerber continues to design and manufacture unique, high quality outdoor recreation products. In 2003 we are proud to introduce the next generation of multi-tools: the Recoil Auto-Plier. By constantly utilizing new technology and innovative design to develop new products, Gerber continues to be an industry leader.

I love the Gerber LMF it's one of the best knives I own its a great tool for a hunter fisherman and outdoors man if your going out to the woods you need one of these on you.
I absolutely love it. It has great weight to it and is very mobile. Useful for camping using as a hammer mainly. I usually keep strapped on my lower leg. Withdraws fast and easy and sheath holds very well even while running you don't have to worry about it falling out.
Kick ass survival knife I use this knife in the field of adventure. I have a hobby or should I say habit of seeking out adventure cross country back country alpine and mountain this really is an all rounder. I have used it as a spear for cooking, for digging rocks out the ground to place my tent! Anyone who gets out there in search of the "bear gryils" type adventure can't go wrong with one of these in your bag.
Thank you for the knife! It is the best all around knife I have used in 25 years of hunting.
It is a very beautiful knife! It has a strong and sharp razor, multifunctional and comfortable handle, and an excellent sheath.
This is an excellent knife. The fit and finish are top quality. It is just another great Gerber knife.
