The Buck 110 Hunter is one of the most iconic knives ever made, having sold millions over the past five decades. It constantly makes the list of best knives and has found its way into the pockets of millions of Americans.

So how could anyone or anything ever live up to the lofty expectations of this knife? The Buck 112 Ranger has proven it's more than possible.

The Buck 112 Ranger may be considered the little brother of the Buck 110 Hunter, but it shows why bigger isn't always better.

The 112 is a scaled down version of the 110 with an overall length of 7.25 inches, as opposed to the massive 8.62-inch 110.

Not only does the smaller size feel better in the hand but it's also lighter and more discreet while retaining all of the same qualities that made the 110 so popular.

The Ranger features a 3-inch 420HC stainless steel clip point blade along with the instantly recognizable natural woodgrain handle and polished brass bolsters. As with all Bucks, the Model 112 comes with the 4-Ever Warranty.

Maybe my favorite Buck, and I love Buck knives. This is my everyday carry knife, simply because it is smaller, and handier than my 110. I own 2 of them, the older one, had the tip break off while digging a bullet out of a tree, I reformed the tip, rounding it off to a Skinne/deboner since the early 90's,great, handy little knife.

Great little knife. Performs just like its older brother the 110 model but in a smaller size. I bought it for my daughter and she has no problem with opening or closing it like she had with my 110 and she can handle it just nice. The good quality leather sheath is what you would expect from a Buck product. Highly recommend this knife for kids or as a starter.

I just received my Buck 112 ranger yesterday, my friend dropped it off to my at my house and I put it on my belt right away and used it later that day at the neighbors to cut down a few cardboard boxes and it did not dull down the factory edge, they have a lifetime warranty on their knives. Great Buy.

A friend and I have the 110 and we just ordered the 112 today. I can't wait to get it and see how it does hunting next squirrel season. I have been wanting one of these for along time.

A very good quality knife at a good price. Great for everyday or heavy duty use. It has a very strong and sharp blade that holds a good edge. Also, it looks like a classic knife and comes with a good sheath.
