Take the Extreme Ops Karambit pocketknife with you on your next camping, hunting or urban exploration trip, and you'll find that the feeling of security it gives you can't be beat.

With a blade length of 3.5 inches, the folder makes for a solid all-around knife. The chisel grind with a beadblast finish on the hawkbill blade is just a bonus.

If you're not familiar with the karambit, the claw-like design of the knife allows you to hold it in different grips, and the S&W version is no different.

The nice stainless steel finger guard at the bottom of the handle provides extra stability to your grip, which makes it virtually impossible for someone to disarm your knife if you're using it in self-defense.

Additionally, the black G-10 overlay on the handle allows for extra grippiness, even when you're not using the finger guard.

This folder is customizable based on your preferences. The adjustable pocket clip lets you carry it tip up or tip down and the ambidextrous thumb stud makes it easy to use with either hand.

• Ambidextrous Thumbstud Karambit Folder

• Blade Style: Chisel Ground with Beadblast Finish

I was looking for a solid piece, which is hard to find in a folding blade. It has a clean, ergonomic handle that makes it a pleasure to try grips both ways. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serious blade, no flash but all business

This is an absolutely great knife for both miscellaneous work, and self defense (if it ever needs to come to that point). It comes out of the box extremely sharp. Its exactly what the description told me it was going to be, except for the interchangeable pocket clip (unless I haven't figured out how to use that yet). Over all its a great knife and I carry it with me everywhere I go, even if its size is a bit bulky. P.S. Delivery was great! I received it a few days before the date it was supposed to come in! Thank you Knife Depot!

Superb! The functionality of this folding knife is only surpassed by the blade quality and grip comfort. I highly recommend it for the edged weapon enthusiast!

I am a knife collector and this one is going to be one of my favorites. It is designed so that it would be very difficult for anyone to take it away from you; and as deadly as it is, you could hurt someone only because of self defense. Beautiful weapon.

Holds edge...very comfortable and secure grip...handle scales are not black, but a dark grey...I'm very pleased with this knife.

I have bought two separate knives. One was not as sharp as I would have liked it. However the second one I bought was close to razor sharp. The knife is heavy. The tip is sharp. It is good for protection. It is also good for daily use. I love pulling it out of my pocket and people look at it in awe. It is certainly worth the twenty bucks. It may be a steal!

This knife is a monster. Although the size is listed, it was still far larger feeling in my hand than I had originally thought. It is sturdy and well crafted with a good weight balance. The blade lock is a little stiff and you have to make sure to swivel the blade fast and hard so the blade locks properly. Overall this is a great well made knife but definitely not for someone looking for something light handed.

I was immediately surprised with the quality of the knife. For such a low price, I was expecting it to be "just a cheap knife." I was glad to be proven wrong. It is very sturdy and well-made. The handle was made of a checkered black plastic, and gave a good grip. The Thumb stud allowed it to open quickly and easily with one hand. The loop at the base of the handle is useful as a retention aide (characteristic of a karambit) or as a "noggin knocker". Even when folded, it could be used as a defensive tool, The blade was sharp and holds a good edge. I was well-pleased with this knife and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a tactical folding knife.

Amazing quality for the price. Shaving sharp out of the box, solid workmanship, and smooth operation. However, I was hoping for a karambit to keep in my back pocket next to my wallet that would open with a single motion when gripped by my trigger finger. The clip is mounted in the wrong direction for this and the ambidextrous thumb studs are too smooth to grip the pocket well enough to open. It opens easy enough one-handed once you get it to the palm though. A solid self defense knife.

The knife is really nice. It's kind of a weird balance for a Karambit, but good for a folder. The only slight problem is that it's heftier than I thought it would be and so doesn't work for the daily carry around knife I was hoping for.

I expected better quality from Smith and Wesson. Basically the knife is no more than stamped parts put together cheaply.

I ordered 6 knives for me and my groomsmen. I love the blade and it opens and closes very easily. The balance is really good as well. My big issue though is that half of them don't stay locked an therefore are a major safety issue. Overall pretty good knives though and a good price.

I found the knife to be bigger and heavier than I anticipated. Feel is not balanced in my smallish hand. Workmanship is okay but not quite what I had hoped for having purchased other knives from this manufacturer.
