This little number combines Smith & Wesson's characteristic smooth action with a slip-resistant rubber handle, making it a reliable workhorse for heavy-duty jobs. The nonstick 440C stainless steel tanto blade cuts even the toughest materials like a hot knife through butter, and its thumb stub opener doubles as a finger guard. In order to prevent it from opening accidentally, Smith & Wesson gave this knife a little more opening resistance, which makes it a great addition to your emergency kit. If you ever find yourself in a jam, you'll be glad to have this pocket knife in hand.

Smith & Wesson is one of the world's most recognizable brands, and for good reason. Since we first opened our doors, we have focused on designing and manufacturing innovative solutions that are unparalleled in the field of personal safety and protection. Almost every major law enforcement and military agency in the world has used Smith & Wesson products, and to this day, most police departments in the United States depend on our firearms and accessories.

We've been a partner to law enforcement since the late 1800s, developing crime-fighting tools that set the standard for the field. Our world-famous .357 Magnum® was developed specifically for law enforcement agencies, and the Smith & Wesson .38 Special has been adopted as the caliber of choice at one time or another by hundreds of police departments. In fact, our .38 Special is so popular, the Smith & Wesson Model 10 firearm that fires it is the only handgun in the world that's been in continuous production since it was introduced in 1899, and to date, over 6 million units have been produced.

We continue to search for high performance in our newest division, Smith & Wesson Advanced TechnologiesTM (S.W.A.T.TM). Through S.W.A.T., we're developing sophisticated technological tools that assist law officials at the city, state and federal levels. We bring the same high standards of craftsmanship and precision quality to our technology solutions as we do to everything else we make.

As a company, Smith & Wesson continues to flourish and grow. We are committed to strengthening our core safety and security business, and we are prospering through synergistic alliances with other best-of-breed experts in their field. The same innovative, forward-thinking spirit that drove Smith & Wesson in the beginning still inspires us today, and we look to a future of continued leadership, quality and craftsmanship in products and services that enhance public safety, security and protection all over the world.

Awesome little knife. My first Tanto style knife and I am very pleased with it. Easy open and locks securely. Very sharp once I took the factory edge off of it. Lightweight and the handle feels great. I wear this knife on my duty belt and can't even tell it's there. Great everyday pocket carry for odd jobs, and also for a back-up blade in an emergency.

For the price it is a very good knife. Maintains a good edge with repeated use and mechanism has remained tight.

The knife is very well put together and is very very sharp right out of package.

The blade is sharp and very nice. The only issue I had with the knife is that it takes a little bit to lock the blade in the open position. Other than that, I really like this blade.

Great knife I'm a farmer and I use it to cut plastic and strings off of round bales and its part of my every day carry about 1 a week I sharpen it back up.

Great tanto blade. On one hand knife is real light weight, on the other hand it's construction makes it kind of fat. The belt clip is a very big plus. All in all good knife, could be narrower, could be a little hardier.

I received this as a gift and have been very pleased with it. I plan to purchase several of these knives to hand out as graduation gifts. They are high enough quality to make a well received present, and the price is amazing. I would buy this knife for myself again and again.

This knife was worth the money. It is a good throw-away knife, even so I still enjoy using it as my carry. The blade its self needed sharping

I loved my knife but it broke apart at the handle in less than a year but otherwise awesome knife

I just received my knife a couple days ago. It is well balanced razer sharp and good for a cheap knife.

The knife does not open when it shouldn't, but a cheap, steel model I bought in Denver opens with a flick of the thumb.
