It is a very comfortable tool to use and is well balanced. The blade could hold an edge a little better but this is a minor point as what it will generally be used for does not require a razor edge. It is much easier to carry or pack than a standard machete due to it size. It is heavier than the standard machete but again this is a minor factor.
First trip out with it, cleared light brush to set up tent, started the fire and sharpened it that night. Sheath offers many ways to wear it or strap it to a pack. I'm pleased with its versatility and price.
I like this knife, it is a little on the heavy side but very durable.
