Gerber Swagger Assisted Opening Folder
If you're a knife tech junkie, this is the tactical every day carry knife for you! Gerber has updated their original Swagger design with a new Assisted Opening 2.0 mechanism and tougher, better materials. Now, the blade deploys with an unparalleled quickness, so you'll be able to outdraw just about anybody. The black-coated, partially serrated blade doesn't mess around, either. Its handle, crafted from G-10 material, is as resilient as Bear Grylls, and can stand up to extremes of heat, weather, and moisture with no problem. Includes a pocket clip.

In 1939 Joseph Gerber hired a local knife maker to build 25 sets of kitchen cutlery to be given as Christmas gifts. The knives were so popular that Joseph Gerber left his advertising agency to start Gerber Legendary Blades®. The unique style and high quality manufacturing of Gerber cutlery soon developed wide spread acclaim. In fact, Gerber Legendary Blades are the only cutlery on display in New YorkÂs famous Museum of Modern Art.
From very early on, Gerber collaborated with top knife designers, setting a standard of quality for everyone else to follow. Renowned designers such as Al Mar, Bob Loveless, Paul Poehlmann, "Blackie" Collins, William Harsey Jr. and Ernest Emerson have all designed knives for Gerber. In 2002 this tradition continued as Gerber released the Silver TridentÂ, designed by Chief James "Patches" Watson (U.S.N. Ret.) and Bill Harsey Jr.
Today, Gerber continues to design and manufacture unique, high quality outdoor recreation products. In 2003 we are proud to introduce the next generation of multi-tools: the Recoil Auto-Plier. By constantly utilizing new technology and innovative design to develop new products, Gerber continues to be an industry leader.

A little tight, but one of the better city daily protection knives.
Not easy to open with one hand.
Bought one of these and loved everything about it until I tried to open it. The spring assist is so tight that it was almost impossible to open. So like a dummy, I bought another thinking it was the one knife, and guess what? I now have two of them, brand new, sitting in a drawer because I cant open either. Its not me either, I have 300 other folders and know what Im doing.
