Columbia River (CRKT) 2804 Civit Drop Point Knife
Tear through tasks with cat-like performance. The Civet is a fixed blade everyday carry neck knife. But like the predator it's named after, it won't sit still for long.
Flavio Ikoma of Presidente Prudente, Brazil, designed the Civet. With several creative patents and innovations under his belt, he draws inspiration from things like sports cars, jet fighters, and stealthy animals. His latest blade features a new, innovative, Easy Clean, slide apart sheath is no exception.
The 2.4" Drop Point-style blade goes back and forth between an all-purpose utility tool and stylish statement. On one hand it has the sophisticated lines that have made Ikoma famous. On the other hand, jimping on the spine of the blade provides you with enhanced cutting control. Add to that an ergonomically designed handle and the Civet is ready to be your sharp companion wherever you may venture.
What makes this blade truly revolutionary though is a sheath that can be taken apart allowing for easy and effective maintenance. Debris is gone. Which means rust and damage is easier to control. It's all so you can keep going through any job that you put your mind, or this blade, to.
If you want a blade that's compact, portable, and packs great performance, the Civet is ready to pounce on the task at hand.

Gekkota Pocket and Golf, the ExiTool, Ta-Bar Tool, Norfork Diver and Whitewater, and Klecker NIRKÂ all exciting and unusual. At the same time, it continues to broaden itÂs traditional knife models, including for the first time, Classic pocket knives, as well as the Centofante Tribute, Carson M4-02 series, and the Delegate and Vertex lines.
More natural and premium materials.
CRKT is continuing to specify the natural and premium materials that are common in the best custom knives, including more knives
with layered Micarta, G10, stag, jig bone, white bone, ram horn, and hardwoods such as thuya root, cocobolo, ebony, walnut, and burl.

This knife has been a disappointment. I have worn it as a neck knife and it frequently fell out of the sheath. I noticed chinks in the blade even though I didn't use it to cut anything. I have stopped carrying it altogether because it fell out of the sheath once and it took me 20 mins to find it. It has been useless to me for my intended purpose.
