My husband carries Uncle Henry in his pocket all the time. He is always ready to open packages, cut twine, cut flowers, or anything else that I am too weak to handle. Has carried for many years. We have bought 2 extras for our grown up grandsons. He is 86 years old.

As a basket weaver my knives are important to me. The Uncle Henry pocket knife has been my knife of choice for almost 40 years. I recently lost my the second one I had owned (they hold up well to constant hard use) and was delighted to get a quick replacement from Knife Depot.

I am very satisfied with the purchase from your website because, they took care of a problem I had with a new knife. I discovered one of the brass pins holding the "bone handle" together was raised. I believe this was due to an irregularity of the finish of the "bone handle". Thank you.

I bought this knife for my husband for Christmas. He had one just like it that he had had for years. It was worn out and said that he wanted another one just like it. It was easy to find on the web and he was a happy camper when he opened his gift.

I am an Ironworker and for years i have been required to carry a pocket knife as part of my trade and the uncle henry is the best in the business. I would not carry any other knife.

A great pocket knife at a good price. Similar to the model once used by the Boy Scouts as a "whitler's knife", it is just the right size. Large enough to be a useful tool but not big enough to wear a hole in your pocket. Until recently, it was also legal to carry on an airplane.

I purchased this "uncle henry" knife because my husband always carries one and after many years of sharpening one of the blades broke. He asked specifically for another uncle henry and that's what I got him. Couldn't find it in any of our local outlets so went here and had great service.

The delivery time was quick and the knife was ready to use and what I expected. Quality is great. One minor change I would suggest is to round the back shoulder of the blades some. The square corner catches on fabric sometimes.

By Larry M. from Walsenburg, CO

The service was good and the knife is good quality but it is a smaller knife than I thought it was. I was trying to replace one I lost.

I have carried this model of Uncle Henry knife for over 20 years, and Schrade knives all my 50 plus years of knife carrying. The new made in China knife is not as good as its American predecessor. The China knife has a thiner blade and it's much more flexible, possibly leading to easier breakage. Over all I would rate it a very good knife but a shade less than the American knifes

Over-all, I'd say "Nice Knife".It's like this... Taylor Brands has done a pretty good job reproducing the Schrade knives. The Bolsters seem to be a bit easier to scuff up and the blades seem to be a bit wider at the Bolster end because when closed, they stick up out of the handle farther than my old, U.S. made one does (Same Model). Also the Staglon Handle is not 'carved' the same. It's still a very good knife for the money.

I am well pleased with the 3 Uncle Henry Premium Stock 3 Blade pocket knives I ordered from your site. The quality is exceptional. The appearance is excellent. The monogram which I had put on the exterior of the hinge end look great. The cost was less that local retailers by about 20%. I could not have ask for better quality. Thank you!

It's OK. I'm now interested in getting a fairly small low priced pen knife.

By Chuck A. from Layton, UT
February 14, 2009

The emblem feel off the face of the handle but the blades seem to hold a edge just fine. I have used this same style of knife for the past 20 years. This is only the second one that the blades were made of Chinese steel.

By Benjamin E. from Los Angeles, CA
February 13, 2012

I ordered this exact model to replace the one I had lost. Very disappointing. It looked a felt like a cheap knock off of a very good knife. The blades are misshaped, the back edge of the blades stick out close to an eighth of an inch out from the body of the case and is also quite sharp. The blades have to be adjusted in position the fully close the knife. These things did not happen with my original.
