When you need a hard-working EDC that will get the job done, look no further than the Jarosz Folder.

KA-BAR teamed up with custom knifemaker Jesse Jarosz to bring his custom Model M75 Tetrad to the masses in a production model at a fraction of the price.

This moderate-sized folder features a 3.5-inch blade made from AUS-8 stainless steel, which can rival some of the best steels when treated right. This version comes with the versatile but always dependable drop point blade profile.

It opens via dual thumb studs and stays locked with a liner lock. Jimping along the spine allows for more nuanced control when you need better control.

Jarosz uses his experience growing up in the outdoors of Nebraska to create a shapely grip that feels good in the hand. The black glass-filled nylon scales are durable and comfortable.

The knife comes with a removable tip up or tip down right hand carry pocket clip.

Making a quality KA-BAR product requires the talent of experienced craftspeople performing dozens of processes with precision and skill. Each knife undergoes specific manufacturing processes to ensure corrosion resistance, strength, edge holding ability, and an out-of-the-box razor sharp cutting edge.

Soon after its introduction in the mid-1920's, the KA-BAR trademark became widely known and respected. There have been many versions of how the KA-BAR name came to be, but all evidence points to a letter received from a fur trapper. This particular fur trapper's testimonial turned out to be the most significant ever received by the company.

He wrote, in very rough English, that his gun had jammed and that he had therefore relied on his knife to kill a wounded bear that was attacking him. In thanking the company for their quality product the trapper described using his knife to kill the bear. All that was legible of his scrawled writing was "k a bar". The company was so honored by this testimonial that they adopted this phrase and used it as their trademark, KA-BAR.

This is Sheraton little knife for most uses. I tend to be a little hard to to please looking for utility, fine work and "abuscability" in all my knives, but this is a knife that scores pretty high. The blade is thin at point, thick on spine, and of good quality steel. The scales are thick, to fill the palm during heavy use, and of tuff quality as well. The only draw back I could see is balance tends to be heavy toward the rear, and that being the only thing keeping it from being a five star rating. Thank you for a really good companion knife to add to my edc

I was at first a little put off by the weight which is heavy for my pocket. But it is heavy in part because of the mass of the blade which is very impressive. A good piece of metal AUS8 makes this a tool you can put some mph behind without being shy about it.
