Love it. Perfectly balanced, has a bit of weight to it that I prefer. I am a beginner and trying to use straight throws and this knife makes it very easy. Not only is it good for throwing, but it's very handy to have for everyday things or work. I've used it several times outside of throwing and it's been extremely useful.

This knife is easy to learn to use, is well balanced, and is the toughest throwing knife I have ever owned. I have had it for over a year and still use it often. I recommend it for beginners wanting to get the hang of it quickly

Just like all the Cold Steel line of knives, this is an excellent knife. Great feel and balance, looks very nice and if you break this knife by throwing it you should consider a different hobby.

Cold steel knives are a notch above many brands. The throwing knife works well for throwing, has good balance and is strong. In addition to throwing, it works well as a utility knife in camp and as a survival knife.

Great Knife. Wish the handle wasn't wrapped though. Great balance.

I don't like to throw knives by the tip and I like to carry knives every where so the sheath and sharpness come in handy also very durable great knife strongly recommended!

The knife edge was sharper than I expected, for a throwing knife. These could be used in the field also. The heft and balance of the thrower is second to none, in fact other throwers I've looked at just don't make the standard of the Cold Steel. I have several other Cold Steel products, and they are all good products.

Great knife. Threw it over four hundred times at a tree and the tip never broke. The edge is sharp, so I throw it by the handle. It was tough at first. only about 1 of 20 throws actually stuck. However, with practice, I learned how to do the no spin throw, and its amazing. 18 out of 20 throws stick. The heavy weight makes it sink deep. It would kill someone if thrown properly. Not only does it make a good throwing knife, but a great over all survival knife. Strongly, strongly, recommended.

This is a great survival knife. Strong, flat, carries 550 cord, handle adapts good to inserting into a spear. Thickness allows for you to use a club to drive blade to split wood, and if necessary you can throw it.

The reason why the seller rating is three out of five stars, is because most people get this knife and give up before they can get good at it.If you ever want to be good at something you have to practice, and give it time. The only reason why someone wouldn't like this knife is because the gave up on it.

This knife is okay.

I rated this 4 stars because of the paracord, it comes loose. A few drops of super glue at both ends of the handle is a good and quick fix, a better fix is heat shrink tubing over the paracord handle. The knife is an excellent handle thrower, I have been throwing since 1952 and I will rate this at the top of my collection of knives of which number near 75.

I like the way the handle stops the ringing when it hits handle first. This knife is not a real throwing knife because the blade is very sharp, so I dulled the blade so I can now throw it when holding the blade which is a blast now.

Great weight, handle heavy. Good handling for both spin and no-spin throwing. One thing is that it comes sharpened - not necessary for a throwing knife that has to stand up to heavy impact. Another issue is the price. It's a little too expensive.

Its a good knife but I cant throw it correctly.
