Recent Reviews - Schrade Knife Selection
Chad D. from Mayfield, NY
I love this knife...perfect for dressing a deer in the field. My father had one for years and handed it down to me some time ago. Unfortunately, last hunting season I dropped it (tip first) onto my garage floor. I could have sharpened it back down to a point, but I don't want to take that much off the blade. I hope to have the one I just purchased for many years to come!

Generally pleased but I felt that the knife had some mfg. flaws that were not necessary. Being rater particular about my knives I coated the handle with a nail hardener compound to cover flaws in the bison horn handle and dress it up a bit. Next time I may elect to spend a little more money and get a Case knife instead of a Schrade.

I purchased this knife to replace the same model that I lost. I had my old knife for 15+ years and was very pleased with it. My new knife is every bit as good as the 1st one, even though it is made overseas.

Great looking knife, however, I purchased it for a birthday gift.

Very nice, very sharp, but a little small for me. I ended up buying the slightly larger version.
Great Knife.
