Great knife! I use it at work every day. It took a little getting use to it. I just use to use a chef's knife.But now I use the Santoku for slicing and dicing vegetables and it it also great for slicing cheese as well. Nice balance and comfortable in my hand. I cook for a living and with Knife Depot prices. Why not get a better set of knifes if you are going to be using them every day?

This knife block is perfect for the set of knives that we bought. We bought the set that fits them it is wonderful that the knife block labels where each individual knife goes. The only down side is that the steak knife slots are a little close together.
